what’s the deal with these cameras? they are fuckin’ shit! my first complaint is that most of them require you to charge the battery while it’s in the camera, via the usb. there is no wall charger for travel purposes. you can pay $10 for an ac adapter, to connect the usb, so you can plug it in to the wall. the only problem is half the time, the gawdamn thing does not work. I had a guest the other day bring in a Kodak M883. I tried to charge the battery via the ac adapter, and it wouldn’t even turn on. this was a camera he had only used once, and could never get it to charge. he bought a spare battery, and the ac adapter (which was not included with his camera) all to no avail. I was getting frustrated with the inability to get the camera to power on, and was starting to feel bad. so I finally was able to let him exchange it for a good camera, a Canon. at least those I know will take good photos, and won’t crap out after very little use. and hey, here’s a novel idea, they actually come with a fucking wall charger! seriously tho, who the fuck wants to hafta plug their camera in to their computer, just to charge a fucking battery! not to mention, most Kodaks I’ve tried can’t take a picture for shit in low-light. there’s a reason why most of their models cost $150 or less, you get what you pay for! I will never recommend Kodak cameras A-GAIN! Canon, Sony, Nikon, FTW!!! ok, now that I’ve got that out of my system, I need to think positive thoughts. Ultimate Surrender blogpost coming up next, woohoo!

Wow. I didn’t know cameras could actually suck that much! Hopefully some people are warned off by this post!
I like Canon a lot. But who knows what my next camera would be. I want something with good ISO/light sensitivity. my night shots have been shit — forever.
