I love this day b/c it gives me time to reflect on all the wonderful music King has given us over the years, whether it was with his solo band, or with Mercyful Fate. his heavenly falsetto is officially recognized as the 8th Wonder of the World. sure, Kiss were the first band to wear facepaint on stage, but King took it to a whole…’nutha…level! the first three King Diamond studio albums, Fatal Portrait, Abigail, and “Them” are fuckin’ crucial!
