Rust In Peace 20th Anniversary Tour DVD Out Now

description from
In March of 2010 Megadeth hit the road in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their classic 1990 album, Rust In Peace. The show was filmed on the last night of the tour at the legendary Hollywood Palladium, not far from where Megadeth was formed in 1983. The band played Rust In Peace in its entirety, including all-time classics Holy Wars…The Punishment Due and Hangar 18. The set list also featured several other fan favorites, including Trust, Symphony Of Destruction and Peace Sells.

setlist courtesy of
Skin O’ My Teeth -> In My Darkest Hour -> She-Wolf Holy Wars/The Punishment Due -> Hangar 18 -> Take No Prisoners -> Five Magics -> Poison Was The Cure -> Lucretia -> Tornado of Souls -> Dawn Patrol -> Rust In Piece…Polaris -> Trust -> The Right To Go Insane -> Head Crusher -> Symphony of Destruction -> Peace Sells

also contains some behind-the-scenes footage, including rehearsal. unfortunately, there are no performances by tourmates, Testament (who ripped skulls by playing The Legacy, in it’s entirety, in a supporting slot)

you can read my review of the DC show, if you check the March 16 entry on my blog. yeah, I’m too lazy to post links to shit on my own blog. the setlist changed ever so slightly between the DC show (March 15) and the show this DVD was filmed at (March 31) thanks to the debacle that was the abortion of the show Megadeth tried to perform at Rams Head in Baltimore, the nite after the DC show. if you were one of the lucky ones who got to see the tour up to this point, then you were treated to a few more Megadeth gems “Wake Up Dead” and Set The World Afire” instead of “Skin O’ My Teeth” and “She-Wolf”; +2 experience to you!

click here to read an article about the Baltimore show, and also check out some videos of Dave Mustaine ranting about the shitty soundboard at Rams Head.
