Case #420: The Case Of The Hi-Def Camcorder That Was In Stock, But Was Sitting In One Of The Dozens Of Totes In The Warehouse

a pregnant woman came in the store the other day. and when I say pregnant, I mean she was due to give birth later that same day. she knew what she wanted, she did all her research. she had her copy of Consumer Reports. she was split between Canon and Sony, but went with Sony. I told her the differences between flash memory and hard drive, so she went with the 16 GB flash memory. she wanted a bundle, so I got her two 16 GB cards, a spare battery, and a case. of course, there was only one problem: we didn’t have the camera in stock! well, we did, but they were both open box items. we had a truck coming in, and fortunately 1 new camera. it took me about 15 minutes to sift thru all the totes in the warehouse, but I found the camera. totally worth it, b/c this woman was ecstatic when I came back with it. she said her parents were badgering her to get a camera, so I guess they were gonna film the birth in stunning 1080p.
