Survivor Series: one of the Big 4 of WWE’s pay per views, the Thanksgiving tradition, originally created in 1987 to continue the feud between Hulk and Andre. The Rock, Undertaker, Kurt Angle, and the Gobbledy Gooker all made their official debuts there.
Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk – pretty decent chance that this match will happen again at WM 28. the IWC’s affinity for Punk, is enough of a reason for Vince to keep the title off him. maybe somewhere down the line, Punk becomes champ again, but for now, ADR to retain.
Mark Henry vs. Big Show – I didn’t think Mark Henry’s reign as WHC would last this long. never was much of a fan of his, but he is proving to be a worthy champion. after last month’s match ended with the ring collapsing, we get a hotly-anticipated rematch. Mark Henry to retain.
Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison – unless there’s some 11th-hour negotiations, JoMo will be gone by the end of the month. Dolph to retain.
Team Orton vs. Team Barrett – the only traditional elimination match on the card. since Orton and Sheamus have the momentum heading into the match, wrasslin’ logic clearly dictates they will lose. Barrett and Ziggler survive.
Beth Phoenix vs. Eve – a lumberjill match for the women’s title. I suppose it’s Eve’s turn to hold the title.
The Rock & John Cena vs. The Miz & R-Truth – Miz’s stock has taken a hit since they future endeavored his gal pal Maryse. if the IWC was booking this match, they’d have Cena turn full-blown heel, and cost his team the match. but we all know Rock is gonna pin Miz for the win, right before he rock bottoms Cena’s candy-ass.
