Impromptu Jam Session Follows Successful Moving Of Air Hockey Table

there’s a brand new jam band on the scene, and their name is Carnival Machine Armada! they played to a sell out crowd at Uncle Oranjello’s House Of Blues on Friday nite. the performance ran the gamut of the band’s 75-minute existence, and included guest vox from Mz. Euterpe for a medley of Nirvana tunes. Gauge Yagee’s masterful work on drums complemented the other three members of the band, who occasionally traded off instruments in between songs.

lead singer Mark I.’s songwriting talents come to the fore on tracks like “I Got These Burgers In The Fridge”

A tude brah gave me a 20
My favourite Chili Peppers song is Under The Bridge
Keep the change, cuz I don’t give a fuck
I got these mutha fuckin’ burgers in the fridge

each band member took turns showcasing their talents with intricate solos during the 17-minute “Adventure Time Freak Out Jam” at one point, an audience member yelled out for them to play Freebird, to which lead singer Mark I. replied “go fuck yourself!” right before they went in to the extra trippy “We’re Not Playing Freebird”

concertgoer, Percival Handfisher, Esq. said “everyone had been hotly anticipating the arrival of this air hockey table. so when Carnival Machine Armada agreed to do a set, it was like icing on the cake!”

Mr. Handfisher also announced the show would be part of a CD/DVD combo to be released in conjunction with the new mini-series he is currently developing for [adult swim]

“this show chronicles the trials and tribulations of 13 individuals who united for one couple’s love of air hockey tables. it’s only a six-episode deal, but the first three episodes are all about them trying to get the table in thru the basement door.”

Handfisher plans to begin shooting on Tuesday, with hopes the series will premiere by September…

I might have miscounted. There might have only been 12 people that night. Not quite a Fellowship….

    Hilarious review!

p.s. I got a 2nd set of drumsticks at a yard sale the next day, so the rock band drumsticks can go back upstairs to the PS2

I also got a “mini-PA”. It’s actually a cassette karaoke machine, but it’s basically a very small amp that lets you plug in 2 quarter-inch jacks. They could be microphones, guitars, whatever… I figure it’s louder than singing with no amp.
